Personal

Currently I am working as a PostDoc at RWTH Aachen, III. Physikalisches Institut A. I am conducting basic research in the field of particle physics, searching for signs of new physics beyond the Standard Model.

Scientific projects

Im actively involved in research. Currently I am one of the two coordinators of our local university group looking for Supersymmetry in R-Parity violating scenarios. During the last years, I mainly worked for the CMS tracker end-cap collaboration and was responsible for wire bonding, software representation and geometry of the tracker, reconstruction of muon tracks from air showers, and alignment of the tracker end cap. I focused on the alignment of the CMS silicon pixel and strip tracker. For two years I led the alignment group and aligned the tracker with muons from air showers. As a result of this work, I am hosting a Kalman Alignment project at HepForge.

Business projects

In my few spare time, I am running a company for Marketing with QR codes. We offer smart QR codes, which when scanned lead you to web applications that allow you e.g. to view information for your business card, order material, or link any web page you like. Additionally you can see how often and when your QR code got scanned.
